Design a bold, high-impact, full-service campaign to promote the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Final between Derry City and Drogheda United.

This high-energy motion graphic was created to promote the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Final, running across Meta, TikTok, and Google. Designed to capture the excitement and prestige of Irish football’s biggest cup competition, I used star players in the competition. The ad features dynamic motion design, bold typography, and fast-paced edits to engage fans and drive ticket sales.

Tailored for social-first platforms, the creative uses attention-grabbing visuals and impactful messaging to maximise reach and conversion.

As this was a full-service campaign, the creative went beyond social touchpoints. This campaign also included out-of-home, email invites, site-specific web creative, display, and beyond.

Out of Home

The out-of-home strategy for this campaign had two phases: site-specific placements in each team's location and a broader, general approach. I designed the billboard (left) as part of the general phase to build excitement around the fixture.

For Sports Direct’s FAI Men’s Cup Final, I aimed to elevate the competition’s visual identity. The design balances bold, dynamic lines with large, emotive player imagery—giving the stars of the show 50% of the creative space while dedicating the other 50% to essential match details. This approach ensures that while the visuals capture attention, the fixture itself remains the key driver in getting fans through the gates.
